Friendship Week in Pre-K

This week our unit was Friendship!

We talked about what qualities make a nice friend, and what we can do to be better friends to one another. We each drew our friends and then said something nice about them. Our friends gave one another great compliments like, "They have a nice smile, They are great bike riders, and they are funny!" These are all great qualities in a friend!

We "Grew" our very own friendship tree, and had our faces as the leaves, wrote in our journals, and colored a great coloring book about Martin Luther King. We also discussed why he was so important.

The children have been so hard at work practicing for their upcoming theatre debut!! They can't wait to perform for all of their guests!

Books We Read This Week:

"That's What Friends Do"- Kathryn Cave

"Goldie is Mad"- Palatini

"Peter Spit A Seed At Sue"- Koller

"Little Miss. Bossy"

"Little Miss. Shy"
