Pre-K News, November 9th, 2009

This week our unit was Native Americans! We spent a lot of time learning about different Native American tribes and cultures! We made some beautiful tee-pee's, a native American boy and girl and even created some original Hopi Pottery Paintings!

We started to write the letter "H" in our Handwriting Without Tears Books, and have begun to sequence, count and write the number "5"
Books We Read This Week:
D is For Drum- A Native American Alphabet- Debbie and Michael Shoulders
Dancing With The Indians-Angela Medaris
Navajo Indians- Caryn Yacowitz
The Hello, Goodbye Window
The Rain Came Down
A BIG THANK YOU to the entire Layden Family for being our terrific Royal Readers and for spending Shabbat with us on Friday!
