Pre-K Class News for Week of January 26th

Last week in class we continued our unit on Wildlife! We also began practice with the letter "P" and reviewed numbers 7 and 8!

On Monday, January 26th we had Miss. Megan visit us from Fairmount's Park Wildlife Program! She brought some really wonderful items to share with us, such as Max the Turtle, some meal worms, bird eggs, and even some real animal furs! The children had an excellent time learning about all the different types of animals that are in and around Fairmount Park!

On Tuesday, January 27th we made a replica of Max the Turtle that we saw the previous day with Miss Megan. We painted a bowl green and brown and put some legs and a turtle head on our creative turtles! We also reviewed some fun math worksheets, which the children are getting very good at!

WEDNESDAY- SNOW DAY!! WE HAD NO SCHOOL!

On Thursday, January we made a funny fox that is now hanging in our classroom. We also talked about what foxes like to eat and where we can see them. We started some practicing sequencing on our language arts worksheets as well.

On Friday, January 30th we made some fish swimming in the water! We also decorated our letter of the week "P." We ended the week as we always do with a great Shabbat celebration with Cantor Carl!
